Welcome to the Music Summer School — a vibrant international music experience that offers young musicians from around the world the opportunity to explore both Chinese traditional and Western classical music. Programs are taught by world-class faculty and hosted in top venues across China.

Chinese Traditional Music Camp

Designed for international students, this immersive program introduces the beauty and history of Chinese traditional instruments such as guzheng, erhu, dizi, and Chinese percussion. Students will learn basic performance techniques, participate in group ensemble rehearsals, and perform in a final showcase concert.

Suitable for students at zero basic or beginner levels

Winds Program

This program offers professional instruction in flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, trumpet, horn, trombone, and tuba. Students receive daily one-on-one lessons, chamber music coaching, and wind ensemble training led by international faculty from top conservatories.

Individual lessons + chamber music + a pipe orchestra combined
Provides support for video recording of performances
Joint rehearsals with students from other projects

Strings Program

Tailored for violin, viola, cello, and double bass students, this course includes intensive private lessons, masterclasses, and ensemble coaching. Repertoire focuses on both solo and collaborative performance.

There is a formal performance and feedback at the end of the course
Provide guidance on test tracks
Professional tutoring for portfolio preparation

Saxophone Academy

A signature intensive program focusing on saxophone performance, technique, and ensemble. Students work with internationally acclaimed saxophonists through daily private lessons, quartet rehearsals, and large ensemble experiences.

Can be used to apply for the recording of a work for an international music school

Percussion Lab

This program explores a wide range of percussion instruments—from snare drum and marimba to multi-percussion and Chinese traditional drums. Students will build technical skills, rhythmic literacy, and ensemble coordination.

Piano Intensive

A rigorous piano program offering masterclasses, private lessons, performance seminars, and ensemble opportunities. Students will polish technique and expression, culminating in a solo recital or chamber performance.
